Dry Spell

Pre-Prohibition Lager

5.6% ABV / 25 IBU

A great story is always brewing – and this one is no exception! We teamed up with our friends at Stones Throw Brewing for a beer collaboration celebrating our friends over at the Blind Pig’s anniversary. After discovering a mutual friendship between breweries, we enlisted the help of our buddies from Ocean Isle North Carolina, Makai Brewing. Beer was brewed along with a day full of shenanigans. Those shenanigans will continue on August 16th at The Blind Pig as they celebrate the release of our collab, Dry Spell pre-prohibition lager along with three other Wild Heart beers on tap. Music at The Blind Pig starts at 6:00 pm with 2 Hicks in a box with Columbia’s Villanova headlining.

Crisp, clean, and brewed like it’s 1910. Dry Spell is our nod to the lagers served before the dark days of prohibition—a time when beer flowed freely and craftsmanship reigned. Brewed with 6 row malt, a healthy dose of flaked corn and Liberty hops. It pours golden with a light grainy sweetness, subtle floral notes, and a snappy finish. A perfect toast to The Blind Pig’s pre-prohibition spirit. No secret knock needed.
